We trek'd 14 miles of or so that first day!

The families made flags to go on their handcarts. The Keirsteds carried the Hoover family flag, they couldn't come at the last minute and they split up the kids between the two families.

Jim and I were just support on this trek so I walked along with our ward for a time and Jim stayed at the end of the group.

Me with Stephanie and Amy before the Trek begins! Good luck girls!

Kent was in the Keirsted family.

Chris was in the Mecham family.

Ma and Pa Mecham
